LEGO 8017 Darth Vader's TIE Fighter was a 251 piece Star Wars set with 1 minifig released in 2009. It consists of Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced x1 starfighter with bent wings, flick-firing missiles, and a Darth Vader minifigure. It is based on the film Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope and was released as part of the 10th Anniversary of LEGO Star Wars with 10,000 boxes containing a Chrome Darth Vader figure randomly inserted.

It was retired in November 2010 with a lifespan of 23 months.
